EXPERIENCE
Koksal Tonyali is the president of Polyolefinconsulting.com. Koksal obtained his education from Case Western Reserve University (M.S. and Ph.D. in Polymer Science in 1985 and 1986, respectively) and University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology in U.K. (B.S. in Polymer Science and Technology in 1982). He has extensive experience in product development, management, project management, technology assessment and evaluation, and commercialization of new products. He worked at Quantum Chemical Corporation (now Equistar Chemicals, LP) and Equistar Chemicals, LP for about ten years. Dr. Tonyali was a section leader for wire and cable product development and technical service group at Quantum, and was most recently a technology manager in New Technology Group at Equistar. He also managed a materials technology center at Furon Company for over two years. He holds over twelve publications and several patents and patent applications related to polymer science and product development.
